Today ends a four-day weekend. I don't even want to think about going back to work tomorrow.
We had a great Easter. The Bunny was good to the boys and the church service didn't seem to go on and on and on. At least, I don't think so. Ken may disagree. :-)
This weekend Ken celebrated his birthday. If we had had a cake, there would have been 33 candles on it. But we don't typically have cake unless it's an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Double yum.
Over the four day weekend I failed to turn on the computer for more than a few minutes at a time. Needless to say, I didn't write a single word. Way too busy. I really wanted to play with my new software, too. It's called "newnovelist" and is going to help me stay organized. It's also designed to help keep the focus when the story wants to follow some intriguing faerie light into the depths of an uncharted forest. We'll see.
Well, I need to run. Kids to put to bed, television to veg infront of.
I know, I know. I should be writing. I'd just rather spend some time with family tonight.
