Hm. I tried posting this at Studio30Plus, but apparently I can't post an update of this sort in their blog system. They'd rather have this kind of thing in the activity area that I'm not convinced anyone would ever see, so what's the point? (Edited to add: I posted a link to this blog post on the wall system to see if anyone would actually follow the link or comment...if you're visiting from Studio30Plus, please let me know in comments!)
Luckily, I have this blog that will allow me to post whatever I want.
I am trying to get rolling on book #2. In order for this to happen, I need to finish re-reading book #1 and take copious notes. My goal, which is what I was trying to post at the writing community, is to read at least two chapters a day.
When I originally announced my goals, I was just getting ready to read Chapter 9. That was on June 15th.
Current Reading Location: Chapter 12.
Where I Should Be: Chapter 17
As you can see, I'm not quite reading and documenting at the pace I should be. Hopefully I'll find the time to get caught up because the fall semester is quickly approaching and my time will be even more limited when I start this second-to-the-last batch of graduate classes.
Yeah, that activity thing is serving no purpose. Unfortunately, I can't get rid of it.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to find my blog entries there refused based on content. I was hoping to use that blog as a means of communicating writing-related topics, including goals and status updates, but apparently that's not going to happen. I must admit I'm a tad bit disappointed.
ReplyDeleteOh, well. At least, I've got this blog!
